Tuscola County Teens Involved in Car Crash

FAIRGROVE TOWNSHIP, MI – On Sunday , May 1st, 2016, at around 7:06 pm, Tuscola County Deputies responded to Gilford and Ringle road in Fairgrove Twp. for a two vehicle crash. Tuscola County accident

Authorities found that a vehicle had been northbound on Ringle Road and failed to stop for the stop sign, striking a vehicle that was eastbound on Gilford Road.

The northbound vehicles driver and passenger were both seriously injured . The driver was an 18 year old male from Caro who was flown by Flight Care to a Saginaw Hospital. The passenger was a 17 year old male from Caro transported by MMR. Fairgrove Fire Dept had used the jaws of life to extricate them from their Buick Lesabre.

The eastbound vehicle, a Buick Century, driven by a 24 year old female from Bay City, and was occupied by three children, ages 1, 3 and 4, were slightly injured and transported by MMR to a Bay City Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation. MSP also assisted at the scene.
