Motorcyclist Killed in Macomb Township Crash

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI – A Macomb Township man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a minivan at the intersection of Romeo Plank and 23 Mile roads.Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Jeremiah King, 29-years-old, of Macomb Township, was going northbound on Romeo Plank Road at about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016, when his 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle hit a southbound 2009 Chrysler Town & Country minivan that was turning left onto 23 Mile Road.

He was taken to Henry Ford Macomb Hospital but died from his injuries.

The driver of the minivan, a 42-year-old woman, from Shelby Township, received minor injuries.

King was wearing a helmet.  Alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in the accident.  The accident remains under investigation.
