DETROIT, MI – Northbound I-75 at Schaefer Highway in Detroit was the scene of a fatal crash that killed two people on Tuesday afternoon.
At about 3:45p.m. on June 28th, 2016, two women driving in an older model Chevy Malibu were killed in the crash. Two others are hospitalized.
Michigan State Police are saying that an out-of-control driver might have suffered a medical episode causing the crash.

Traffic was backed up for miles because the accident happened right at rush hour.
Michigan State Police finished up with the accident scene at approximately 7:15 p.m. North bound I-75 has reopened at Schaffer.
