PORT HURON TOWNSHIP, MI – The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in solving larcenies taking place in the southern end of the county.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the Sheriff’s Office has, since June 25th, 2016, taken several complaints of stolen kayaks from the city of Algonac and the townships of Clay, Ira and Cottrellville. The kayaks were stolen from the owner’s yards. Some were tied with rope, while others were not secured.
If you have a kayak, or any other valuable equipment, please make sure to secure it as best as you can. If you see any suspicious activity in your yard, or your neighbor’s yard, please contact the Sheriff’s Office, or your local police agency, immediately.
