Detroit Police seek Information on Carjacking of 81 yr old Man

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the assistance from the public to help locate two male subjects wanted in connection with the shooting and carjacking of an 81-year-old man that took place on the city’s west side.corey-hill

On Tuesday, August 30th, 2016, at 1:30 a.m., the 81-year-old man was robbed, carjacked and shot multiple times in a parking lot in the 18500 block of Joy Road. After the shooting the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s 2013 gray Chevy Curz.

The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries.

During the course of the investigation, one of the suspects was identified as being Corey Hill, a black man, 25-years-old.  HEAT is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Hill.

Wanted:

Suspect #1 Black Male, 25-years-0ld, 5ft 10, 160lbs, black hair, brown eyes, medium brown complexion.

Suspect # 2 Black Male, no further information.
