Detroit Police seek help on Eastside Armed Robbery

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for the armed robbery of a business on the city’s east side.

On Saturday, September 24th, 2016, at 9:30 a.m., in the 20100 block of Van Dyke, an armed male suspect entered the business, retrieved a Mountain Dew from the cooler, walked up to the cashier, (a 47 year old female), pulled out a hand gun and demanded money from her register. The victim complied and was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”, 190 lbs., black hair, worn in dreadlocks, brown eyes, clean shaven, and dark complexion. The suspect was last seen wearing a black tee short, black jeans and red Jordan gym shoes.
