Two Teens Carjack Woman in Oakland County

PONTIAC, MI – Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 200 Block of W. Kennett Rd for an Armed Carjacking that just had occurred on Friday, October 7th, 2016 at approximately 8:30 p.m.carjacking

Deputies were advised that the stolen vehicle was a burgundy Ford Windstar and that it had a broken passenger side taillight. Deputies assigned to the Directed Patrol Unit responded to the area of Baldwin Rd and Montcalm where they located the vehicle traveling eastbound on Montcalm Ave.  Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle near the intersection of Montcalm Ave and Saginaw Street.

The 61 year-old woman, who is a resident of the City of Pontiac, who was carjacked, was brought to the scene and positively identified the two suspects.

The first suspect is a 16 year old male, who is a resident of the City of Hazel Park and the send suspect is a 15 year old male, from the City of Pontiac.

A search of the vehicle resulted in Deputies locating two (2) BB guns, a knife, mask, and 2 bandanas.  Detectives from the Sheriff’s Auto Theft Unit responded to the Substation to continue with the investigation.  Both suspects were lodged at Oakland County Children’s Village pending a juvenile hearing and charges.
