Young Detroit Boy Missing after Calling Sister on Cell Phone (Updated)

DETROIT, MI – A young Detroit boy has gone missing and the Detroit Police Department is asking for help from the public to located him.kenneth-sanders

UPDATE:  DPD states that Kenneth Sanders returned home  this morning and is safe. Thank you all again for your assistance. 

Kenneth Sanders was last seen by his sister getting onto a school bus in the 4000 block of 29th Street on Friday, October 14th, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m.

At approximately 7:29 p.m. he called his sister from a cellphone and told her that he was at a friend’s house but never returned home. Kenneth resides in the 7500 block of Wetherby with his family.

Kenneth is described as a black male, 12-years of age, 5’7, 130 lbs. dark brown complexion, with a slash mark on his forehead due to recent stitches. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts and orange gym shoes.

Kenneth is in good physical and mental condition.
