Man uses Shotgun in Detroit in Attempted Break-in of an ATM

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspect in connection with an attempted break-in of a Bank of America ATM, on the city’s eastside.

On October 15, 2016 at 11:05 p.m. in the 10700 block of Gratiot, two suspects riding in a light blue two – toned vehicle drove up to the ATM machine. One of the suspects then exited the rear passenger door of the vehicle and shot at the ATM machine, in an attempt to gain entry, but was unsuccessful.

After the attempt, the suspects fled the location. Nothing was removed from the machine, no injuries reported.

Suspect # 1 black male 18-25, dark complexion, 180 lbs. Suspect #2 no description is available. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
