Detroit Police seek information about Burglary on East side of City

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male wanted in connection with a burglary of a business located in 2900 block of Russell on Detroit’s eastside.

On October 16, 2016 at approximately 4:35 a.m., the male suspect entered the location through the front door using what appeared to be an access code to the location. While the suspect was inside, he forced open a safe, situated within an office space inside the location. The suspect then removed miscellaneous items including an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the safe. He was last seen exiting the location and traveling southwest on foot.
