Detroit Police need your Help to locate Shooting Suspect

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a shooting that occurred in northwest Detroit. samuel-dixon-2

On Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016, in the 18200 block of Santa Barbara, a 24-year-old male victim was meeting up with a friend (known suspect). When the victim arrived at the location, the suspect exited his vehicle, walked up to the victim, and shot the victim in the chest. The suspect returned to his vehicle and fled from the location. It is unknown why the suspect shot the victim. The victim was critically injured.

The named suspect is Samuel Dixon Jr. He is a black male, 25-years-old, 5’9”, and weighs 180 lbs.

Samuel Dixon Jr. is to be considered Armed and Dangerous. He is in poor mental condition.
