PONTIAC, MI – For the fourth consecutive year, Community Network Services (CNS) is helping to make Thanksgiving special for families in need by giving away “free” turkeys. According to CNS CEO Michael K. Garrett, “the turkey giveaway is an expression of CNS’ commitment to and support of our clients, their families, and the communities we serve.”
Community Network Services (CNS) will proudly give complimentary turkeys to 400 pre-selected families, in need.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has collaborated with CNS since the beginning, donating resources and time to ensure the success of the turkey giveaway, annually. “We are proud to partner with CNS and the Mayor’s Office once again this year to give Thanksgiving turkeys to Pontiac families in need,” said Sheriff Michael Bouchard. “The health and well-being of the residents of Pontiac is important to us and extends well beyond just public safety. It is great to partner and give back to the community we are proud to serve.”
For the second consecutive year, Pontiac Mayor Deirdre Waterman extends her support, time and resources to CNS’ turkey giveaway because it is an extremely positive contribution to the community. “It is a great experience to participate in this turkey giveaway and to play a role in adding this holiday cheer to so many families,” Mayor Waterman said.
