Lincoln Park Woman Arrested for 30 Counts of Unauthorized Access to a Computer Network

LINCOLN, PARK, MI – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Cyber Command Center (MC3) is announcing the arrest of Kristina Marie Lee, 36 years of age, previously residing in Lincoln Park, for Unauthorized Access to a Computer Network.

Lee was arrested following an investigation by the Michigan Cyber Command Center (MC3) after being contacted by a school system in Wayne County that suffered substantial data loss after an ex-employee of the school system manipulated online student records.

Following a forensic examination of the digital evidence, Lee was charged with 30 felony counts of Unauthorized Access to a Computer Network and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime by the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.  Lee was arraigned on those charges in Wayne County today, December 7, 2016.

Accessing a computer or a network without authorization or exceeding authorized access on a computer or network within the State of Michigan is a violation of State Law.
