Detroit Man Arrested in St. Clair County Crack House Raid

PORT HURON, MI – The St. Clair County Drug Task Force executed search warrants on two separate apartments Friday afternoon, January 6th, 2017.

According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, an apartment house in the 1200 block of Court Street in the city of Port Huron was the target of the DTF. They were conducting an investigation into the sales of crack in Port Huron, which culminated with the raid on the apartments at about 1:00 p.m., with the assistance of the Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team.

About $1000 worth of crack cocaine was located and seized in the apartments. Also seized was marijuana, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging materials, cell phones and cash.

A 41 year old Port Huron man was arrested, along with a 26 year old man from Detroit. They are both lodged in the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center. They are expected to face charges of possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, destruction of evidence, maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender.

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division also assisted at the scene of the raid.
