PORT HURON, MI – An investigation into the sales of heroin and manufacturing of methamphetamine ended last night, Monday, January, 9th, 2017, with the execution of a search warrant in the 1700 block of Jenks Street in the city of Port Huron.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force served the warrant at the residence about 9:30 Monday night. A small amount of heroin and methamphetamine were located and seized during the search. Also confiscated were meth lab components, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a scale, cash and a rifle.
Four people were arrested at the home and taken to the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center. They are a 39-year-old man from Detroit, two men, ages 47 and 64 from Port Huron and a 27 year old woman from Port Huron. They are expected to face charges including possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, maintaining a drug house and frequenting a drug house.
The St. Clair County Sheriff Special Response Team, Port Huron Police K-9 Unit and Port Huron Police Road Patrol assisted during the execution of the search warrant.
