Detroit Police need Information on two West side Armed Robberies

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two  suspects for two armed robberies that occurred on the west side of Detroit.

On Sunday, January 8th, 2017, at approximately 7:00 p.m., in the 15000 block of W. 7 Mile Rd. and 7:55 p.m., in the 12600 block of Dexter, the same two (2) armed suspects robbed the stores at the locations. In both incidents, the suspects approached the cashiers at the registers and demanded money. The security guard at one of the locations drew his firearm and scared off the suspects. No injuries were reported. The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 – Black male, 21-24, 5’7”, 150 lbs., light complexion, black curly hair wearing a purple bandana, black coat, black pants, white gloves – ARMED

Suspect #2 – Black female, 24, 5’5”, 130 lbs., light complexion, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red jogging pants, and a black half mask – ARMED
