Man Arrested in Ingham County Murder

LANSING, MI – Sheriff Scott Wriggelsworth announces the arrest of Thomas Densmore Jr. in the homicide of 69-year-old David Fluke.

On October 11th, 2016 the Sheriff’s Office responded to 5077 Willoughby Rd in Delhi TWP, for a DOA. It was soon determined that the death was suspicious in nature. The Medical Examiners Office ruled the death a Homicide and the Sheriff’s Office began investigating it as such.

Thomas Densmore JR has been charged with Open Murder in David Flukes death. He was arraigned today in front of Magistrate Blumer of the 55th District Court in Mason. Densmore is being held without bond at the Ingham County Jail. His next court date is February 16th at 8:30 a.m. in front of Judge Allen for a pre-trial conference. The preliminary exam will be on February 23rd at 9:00 a.m. in front of Judge Allen.

The Michigan State Police has assisted with the investigation from the onset. Detectives have worked full time on this case and continue to do so. Detectives are asking anyone that has information regarding this case to contact Detective Brad Delaney at 517-244-1896.
