DPD needs information to solve 2nd East side B&E at same Business [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for a second break-in that occurred on the city’s east side in the same location.

On Saturday, February 4th, 2017, at approximately 4:00 a.m., at the Vergote’s Poultry & Fish Market, in the 16500 block of Harper, a suspect broke the front window to the business and entered the location. The suspect was captured on surveillance video placing items in a bag. He then fled the location in an unknown location.

He is described as a black male, wearing a black hat, red t-shirt over a light colored long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

The first incident occurred on Friday, January 6th, 2017, at 12:30 a.m., at the Vergote’s Poultry & Fish Market, in the 16500 block of Harper, a suspect broke the front window to the business and entered the location. The suspect was captured on surveillance video placing items in a black bag and leaving the location through the front window. He is described as a black male, wearing a black skull cap, black jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.
