DETROIT, MI – Antenidus Montrell Collier, 44-years-old, of Detroit has been charged in connection with the murder of Carissa Nicole Oakman, 36-years-old, of Detroit.
On Monday, January 30th, 2017 the lifeless body of Ms. Oakman was found in a garbage bag in the garage in the 4500 block of 28th Street by the Detroit Police Department.
It is alleged that Antenidus Collier assaulted Ms. Oakman and fatally smothered her on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 at 2:30 a.m. The facts and evidence in the case will be presented in court at the preliminary examination.
Today Collier has been charged with First Degree Murder and First Degree Felony Murder.
He is expected to be arraigned today in 36th District Court at 2:30 p.m.
