3 Wanted for Unarmed Robbery on Detroit’s East side

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three individuals wanted in connection with an unarmed robbery and hit and run on the city’s Eastside.

On January 7, 2017 at approximately 7:20 p.m., in the 16900 block of Harper, a 53-year-old man was in the above location when he noticed his wallet was missing. While retracing his steps he observed three males who he believed had stolen his wallet exit the location and enter a dark colored 4 door vehicle. The victim attempted to approach the vehicle when it accelerated, striking the victim and then fleeing the scene.

Black Male, 19-25, 140-160 lbs., 5’6”-5’8”, Dark complexion.
Individual #2
Black Male, 19-25, 180-220 lbs., 5’11”-6’11”, dark complexion.
Individual #3
Black Male, 19-25, 150-180 lbs., 5’8”-5’11”, light complexion.
