Inkster Apartment Fire Injures Six

INKSTER, MI – An early morning fire at an apartment complex in Inkster injured six people on Saturday, March 4th, 2017.

The blaze was confined to one building in the Cherry Hill Club apartment complex off Henry Ruff and Cherry Hill roads.

The call to 911 came in just after midnight.  When firefighters arrived, thick heavy smoke was billowing from the structure.

Authorities stated that a total of six people were injured: Five of those individuals were taken to hospital and one is listed in critical condition and was airlifted out.

The building is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.  It remains under investigation.
