Detroit Police Seek Assistance with information about Fatal Accident on the city’s east side [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown female suspect wanted in connection with a fatal accident that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Monday, April 3rd, 2017, at approximately 10:05 p.m., in the 19400 block of Kelly Road, the driver of a blue Chevy Trailblazer was heading southbound on Kelly when she hit a male victim as he was crossing the street.

The driver of the vehicle exited her car, but later returned to her vehicle and fled the scene.

Medics responded to the location.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not been identified. He is still a John doe.  He is a white male believed to be in his 50’s.

WANTED:

The woman is described as a black female in her mid 20’s, 5ft 5 to 5ft 8, 150 lbs, with a long weave style hair to her elbows, with a possible piercing in her nose.  No clothing description was provided.

She was driving a blue Chevy Trailblazer with a partial plate of DGH.  The vehicle would have damage to the front bumper.
