Man wanted for breaking into Maryland Liquore Store on Detroit’s east side

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male suspect wanted in connection with the breaking and entering of a local business that occurred on the city’s east side.

On March 24, 2017 at approximately 2:20 a.m., in the 15000 block of Mack Avenue, an unknown male suspect forced entry into the local store (Maryland Liquore Store) by making a hole in the roof above a beverage cooler. Once inside, the suspect forced entry behind the counter then stole several items. Taken were several boxes of cigarette cartons, scratch off lottery tickets and liquor. No injuries were reported.

Wanted: Suspect #1 – black male, dark brown complexion, and mustache, wearing dark colored hat, black jacket, black pants and shoes.
