DETROIT, MI – A mother is asking why her mentally ill son would be given a bus ticket, sent out the front door of Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital of Ferndale and was allowed to end up as missing.

Terrence Anderson has been diagnosed as a schizophrenic and he also has a drug addiction.  His mother said that Kingswood Hospital, on 8 Mile Rd near Mendota, gave her son a bus ticket and allowed him to walk freely out the front door. The bus ticket was to take him to Elmhurst Treatment Center on Linwood in Detroit.  He never arrived. He has not been heard nor seen from since Friday, April 28th, 2017.

When Mrs. Anderson tried to get information about him from the hospital, she was unable to do so because of HIPPA laws and a patients rights to privacy.  Making this situation even more difficult, another son she lost one year ago tomorrow, May 2rd, 2016.  She is heart broken about being Terrance missing.

Terrance Anderson is described as being a 35 year old man, 6ft 2, and he weighs approximately 150lbs. The hospital gave him cloths to put on when he was released but there is no description of what he was wearing.

If you or anyone you know of has information as to the whereabouts of Terrance Anderson, please call Mrs. Anderson at 313-808-6345.
