Detroit Man Wanted on Multiple Charges

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are currently searching for a man who is wanted for multiple charges for an incident that occurred in late April.

Kennie Dwayne Jones is wanted for an incident on April 26th, 2017 that happened in the 5300 block of Lakepointe. The suspect robbed and shot a 22 year old man, critically wounding the victim.

Kennie Jones is described as a black male, 27-years-old, 5’7’, 170lbs.,  He drives a Black Durago.

Kennie Jones is to be considered Armed and Dangerous.

He was released from prison and is currently on probation based on records from the Michigan Department of Corrections.

He has previous convictions for:

  • Controlled Substance-Possess Narcotic/Cocaine < 25 Grams
  • 2 counts Controlled Substance-Possession Of Marijuana

He is Wanted on Warrant for:
