DETROIT, MI – The body of a woman who was found in the area of Joy Rd and Livernois Ave. on Monday May 15th, 2017 has been identified.
She has been identified as Tabetha Charles, 31-years-old, of Detroit.
Police were called to the back yard of vacant house near the intersection of Dover and Burnett. They had been called there after the woman’s friend found her behind the house. When police arrived, they found the body Tabetha Charles covered with leaves and sticks.
A relative of Tabetha’s stated on social media that she was murdered on Monday and found on Tuesday by a friend. That friend then called authorities to come to the scene.
Tabetha leaves behind two children.
