Man wanted for Two Armed Robberies on Detroit’s West side [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in two armed robberies that occurred on the city’s west side.

On May 28, 2017 at approximately 9:30 a.m., in the 16900 block of Meyers, a lone black male suspect approached the victim who had just used the ATM and robbed him. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim complied and was not injured.

Later that day, the same armed suspect approached a female victim in the 4000 block of Livernois. The female victim was using the ATM, at approximately 9:30 p.m., when the armed suspect walked up behind her vehicle, pointed a gun at her and took the cash directly from the ATM. The female victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his 40’s, 5’10” – 6’, medium build, medium to dark complexion, wearing a fisherman hat, striped shirt, and dark colored shorts. In the second incident, the suspect was described the same, with the exception that he was wearing a light colored tank top and shorts.
