Midland County Sheriff’s Office working to locate two 13 yr old Runaways

JASPER TOWNSHIP, MI – The Midland County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate two 13 year olds that ran away from their separate homes in Jasper Township. It is believed that the two are together.

The Sheriff’s Office was notified on Saturday June 10, 2017 at approximately 6:55 am that Rafael Orta-Vazquez had run away from his home which is located in the 4800 block of West Kent Road. He was last seen at his house on Friday June 9th, 2017 at approximately 10:30 pm. Rafael’s parents informed deputies that Rafael most likely went to the home of his girlfriend Hallie Jo Toner.

Prior to deputies arriving at Hallie’s house, it was discovered by her mother that she had run away as well. Hallie Toner lives in the 2700 block of South Lewis Road. Their residences are approximately 1.5 miles apart. Hallie was last seen at her house on Friday June 09, 2017 at approximately 10:00 pm and was discovered missing around 7:00 am on June 10, 2017.

Rafael Orta-Vazquez is described as a Hispanic male approximately 6 ft, 165 lbs with short black hair and brown eyes.

Hallie Jo Toner is described as a white female approximately 5 ft, 90-100 lbs, long blonde hair and blue eyes.

It is unknown what the children are wearing at the time of their disappearance.
