Dearborn Police looking for Stolen Ford F-250 Truck from AK Steel

DEARBORN, MI – On Friday June 9th, 2017, at approximately 1:55pm, a maroon colored mini-van entered the contractor parking lot of AK Steel located at 4001 Miller at Gate #2.

This vehicle drove around the lot and then parked next a Ford F-250 Super Duty truck. A suspect exited the mini-van and was able to make entry into the victim’s vehicle and steal the F-250. At 1:59pm, the mini-van and stolen F-250 are seen on video leaving the parking lot together and out of view of the security cameras.

The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for this crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dearborn Police Department at 313-943-2241. If a reporting party wishes to remain anonymous they can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Crimes of this nature are not exclusive to one particular area. Crime has no boundaries and the suspects in this case are likely committing crimes in other communities as well. We are asking that the public come forward and help us identify the suspects in this case.”
