Alpena D.A.R.E. program announces 2017 Besser Company scholarship winners.

ALPENA, MI – The Alpena D.A.R.E. program today, Thursday June 29th, 2017, announced their 2017 Besser Company scholarship winners.

The Alpena D.A.R.E. program is extremely Thankful for Besser Company, President / CEO Mr. Kevin Curtis and Besser Company Director of Molds Mr. Brian Budnick for this years scholarships winners who were selected from their application and personal life skills as outstanding young adults that just graduated from Alpena High Schools this past June.

Kevin Curtis, Besser President / CEO stated “For Besser, our community in which we live and work and raise our children have become increasingly important for the company. Besser wants our future workforce to be filled with creative minds and positive thinkers in order to ensure the company’s continued success and longevity; and they want to shape and support our local students in any way they can with those positive traits in creating positive productive drug free young adults.”

Each of the scholarship recipients received a $500.00 scholarship towards their college of choice and the career field they are choosing.
