Man Killed Woman injured from Gunfire on Detroit’s West side [Video]

DETROIT, MI – Just shortly before 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday August 8th, 2017, shots rang out on Detroit’s west side.  It is known that two people were shot when they were hit by flying bullets.

The shooting happened on Schoolcraft between Montrose and Grandmont.

A man, believed to be in his mid 40’s, was shot and killed.  The woman, believed to be in her 20’s, ran inside Moe’s Service Station, in the 15400 block of Schoolcraft, to get help after the two were shot.

The male victim could be seen lying in the street near Rutherford.  He did not survive his injuries.  The male victim was found with a gunshot wound to his torso. He died at the scene.

Word is circulating that the incident had something to do with money. Witnesses have stated that they heard at least 6 shots ring out.

Police were not letting bystanders near the crime scene.

The female victim was rushed to Sinai-Grace Hospital.  Her condition is currently unknown.
