Two Bad Axe Area Men Arrested and Arraigned for Selling Fentanyl

BAD AXE, MI – After acting on a tip about the sale of heroin, Deputies from our office and the Bad Axe City Police began an investigation.

The investigation led to controlled buys of what was fentanyl. It then eventually led to two Bad Axe area men being arrested on Friday August 4th, 2017.

They were then formally charged and arraigned this week for felony sale of fentanyl. Suspect Jason C. Loughner, 43-years-old, posted a $7500 or 10% bond after arraignment and has since been released.

His companion Joshua D. Nowiski, 26-years-old, remains lodged in our jail on that felony charge, as well as a no bond parole violation charge.

This investigation will continue.
