WAYLAND TOWNSHIP, MI – A 29-year-old man who was killed in a fiery car crash late Sunday evening has been identified and details of the accident have changed some after authorities continued on with their investigation.

On Sunday August 13th, 2017, Deputies from the Allegan County Sheriffs Office as well as Officers from the Gun Lake Tribal Police and Wayland Police Department responded to southbound US131 north of the Shelbyville exit in reference to a vehicle parked in the southbound lanes with no lights on.

While enroute they received additional reports of a head on crash and vehicle fire at the same location.
