Mount Clemens Man charged with two separate Armed Robberies

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – A 29 year old Mount Clemens man has been charged with two separate armed robberies.

The Macomb County Prosecutor issued two warrants for Andrew Lewis Harris, 29-year-old, of Mount Clemens.

The warrants were the result of two separate robberies on August 10th, 2017. The first robbery was at a car wash on Harper, south of I 94 and the second robbery was the ATM guard at the 7-11 on Harper, north of 16 Mile. At the 7-11, the suspect made off with approx. $106,000 and over $103,000 was recovered during the arrest of Andrew Harris.

In the robbery at the car wash, Harris was charged with Robbery Armed.

In the 7-11 Robbery, Harris was charged with

1). Armed Robbery, life felony

2). Felony firearm, 2 year mandatory

3). Felon in possession of firearm, 5 year felony

Andrew Harris was arraigned before magistrate Jim McGrail at the 41st District Court. Bond was set at $50,000 cash surety for each of the two warrants.
