3 Oakland County Teens Victims of Armed Robbery on Clinton River Trails

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – On Tuesday August 29th, 2017 at approximately 6:30PM, Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Hamlin Rd. and Crooks Rd. for an Armed Robbery that occurred on the pathway of the Clinton River Trails which are north of Hamlin Rd, just west of Crooks Rd.

The victims, two 15-year-old boys and one 16-year-old boy, reported they were on the pathway taking pictures with their cellphones when three persons riding on bicycles robbed them of their cellphones and wallets. One of the suspects showed them the butt of a gun which was concealed in his front pocket. The victims complied with the suspects’ demands and were not injured during the robbery.

The suspects are described as:

SUSPECT #1 INFORMATION:  Black male, approximately 20 years old, with tattoos on his arms and neck.  Approximately 6’ 2” tall, thin build and wearing black shorts and shirt. 

SUSPECT #2 INFORMATION:  White male, approximately 16-17 years of age, 5’ 7” tall with a medium to average build.  He had curly blonde hair with a light goatee and wearing a white hat, baggie shorts and a baggie shirt. 

SUSPECT #3 INFORMATION:  Hispanic female, approximately 14-15 years of age, long brown hair with a light skin complexion and was wearing black leggings.

Deputies checked the area extensively for the three suspects but were unable to locate the suspects. Deputies interviewed the victims and obtained statements from them. Deputies attempted to track the stolen phones but had no luck there either. The incident will be forwarded to Detectives for further investigation.
