2 Arrested from Metro Detroit area in Roscommon County for Drugs

HOUGHTON LAKE, MI – On Wednesday August 30th, 2017 Michigan State Police Troopers from the Houghton Lake Post stopped a vehicle on north bound I-75 near MM 223 for speed in Roscommon County, Richfield Township. The driver was initially stopped for traveling at a speed of 90 miles per hour in a 75 mile per hour zone.

After a road side investigation, the Troopers arrested the driver, a 24-year-old from Center Line for possession with the intent to deliver crack cocaine/Possession of Marijuana/No license/Speed 90/75. The passenger was also arrested, a 21-year-old from Royal Oak, for possession with the intent to deliver crack cocaine and littering.

They were both lodged in the Roscommon County Jail.
