Detroit Police looking for Tips about August Non-Fatal Shooting [Video]


DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two unknown suspects wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on the city’s west side.

On August 25, 2017 at approximately 10:44 am, police received a report of a shooting in the 1500 block of Highland. Upon arrival, it was determined that a 39-year old male victim was shot multiple times inside of his residence. His residence was also set on fired while he was inside. Upon further investigation, video revealed two unknown suspects running away from the residence and fleeing in a black Pontiac G6. Investigators believe that the suspects are responsible for this crime. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
