Detroit Police need help to solve July Non-Fatal Shooting case [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect wanted for a Non-Fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Sunday July 16, 2017 at approximately 12:54 am, at the intersection of Woodrow Wilson and Webb, a 45 year old black male victim, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim and a friend were riding their bikes southbound on Woodrow Wilson as a burgundy Jeep Liberty, which was heading northbound on Woodrow Wilson, turned wide almost hitting them. As a result, the victim and the driver exchanged words. Shortly afterward, the suspect exited his vehicle, produced a weapon and began firing shots at the victim. The suspect then fled northbound on Woodrow Wilson.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
