STERLING HEIGHTS, MI – On Tuesday October 10th, 2017, Families Against Narcotics will be honoring all Macomb County Law Enforcement for their active role in the Hope Not Handcuffs program.
This event will take place at Penna’s, located at 38400 Van Dyke, Sterling Heights, MI 48312, and doors will open at 5:30pm. Families Against Narcotics will be recognizing and honoring several program participants as well as sharing success stories from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. This event concludes at 9:30pm.
Hope Not Handcuffs has placed 580 people into treatment since February 1, 2017. This program has spread to 33 police departments across 5 counties. Macomb County has lost 317 people to overdose in 2017.
