In battling this opiate epidemic, this is a huge win for the community. They will continue to be creative in this fight, and do all that they can to limit the exposure in the community, especially to our young people.

Phase 2 is for the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office to partner with big businesses in our community. Have businesses host a “green day” where they can be on site for a couple hours to collect these unused/expired pills from employees who bring them in for proper disposal. This plan is in a beginning stages, and more information will be forthcoming.
