3rd O’Reilly Auto Parts store Suspect turns Herself In

DETROIT, MI – The last of the two women who have been the main suspects in the murder of an O’Reilly Auto Parts store manager has turned herself into police.

Eboni Monae Mcewen-Ross, 28-years-old, of Detroit, surrendered to authorities on Monday evening, November 13th, 2017.

Detroit Police will submit a warrant request in connection with the third suspect tomorrow morning to the Wayne County Prosecutors Office.

Eboni Mcewen-Ross was not the person who fired the fatal shots into James Haller on Wednesday November 1st, 2017, but she is 2nd woman seen on video surveillance to enter the store that afternoon. It is alleged that she did participate in the armed robbery of the auto parts store and murder of Haller with Shawnta Anderson, 23-years-old, of Detroit.

Shawnta Anderson along with Leviticus V. Butler, 38-years-old, also of Detroit, were arrested in southwest Detroit, in the 6000 block of Colfax, at about 9:00PM, on November 6th, 2017.

Shawnta Anderson is charged with one count of Felony Murder, a felony carrying a penalty of Life in Prison without Parole., two counts of Armed Robbery a felony with a maximum penalty of Life in Prison, and three counts of Felony Firearm, a felony with a two year consecutive penalty.

Leviticus Butler is charged with one count of Accessory After the Fact, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years.
