Charges Dropped against Two in Highland Park Case

HIGHLAND PARK, MI – Today, Tuesday November 28th, 2017, multiple charges against two men were dropped by the Wayne County Prosecutors Office because they were not able to proceed with the case.

This means that it is possible for the case to re-charged at a later date. The defendants were remanded to jail because they have cases in Detroit and Hamtramck which have been bound over for trial in Wayne County Circuit Court.

It was alleged that Aaron Rashard Stewart, 22-years-old, and Quentin Davon Flemons, 19-years-old, both from Detroit, on July 18, 2016 at approximately 3:00 a.m., pulled a 31-year-old Highland Park womanm off her bicycle in the area of Second Avenue and West McNichols, forced her into an alley where she was sexually assaulted and robbed.
