DETROIT, MI – Today, Wednesday November 29th, 2017, the Probable Cause Conference was held before Judge Deborah Lewis Langston for the three people charged in the murder O’Reilly Auto Parts Store manager James Haller.
The motion to consolidate the cases of Defendants Shawnta S. Anderson, 23-years-old, Leviticus V. Butler, 38-years-old, and Eboni McEwen-Ross, 28-years-old, all of Detroit, was granted by the court.
The Preliminary Examinations for Eboni McEwen-Ross and Leviticus Butler are scheduled for December 19th at 11:00am.
Shawnta Anderson was referred for competency and a review date was set by the court in 60 days from today. According to Anderson’s attorney she has a mental health problem. Her attorney requested a mental competency exam for her. The attorney explained to the court that she has been seeing a psychiatrist and that she was on Zoloft before the fatal shooting.
