MSP increases Traffic Enforcement after large uptick of Fatal Crashes

LANSING, MI – Michigan State Police in the Second District are conducting increased traffic enforcement over the next two days for speed, following too closely and distracted driving on all metro Detroit freeways.

MSP have seen a large uptick in the last two months of fatal crashes due to speed, following to closely and distracted driving.

18 people died on Michigan roadways last week. 960 deaths so far this year.
