Northville Man’s Car Shot at on I-96

DETROIT, MI – On Thursday December 7th, 2017, at approximately 2:57am, troopers from the Metro South Post and from the Second District Special Investigation Section responded to westbound I- 96 and Davidson for a possible shooting on the freeway.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a man, from Northville, was driving home from work when a vehicle, possibly 2010 silver Impala, pulled alongside and fired shots at his vehicle. The vehicle was struck, but the driver was uninjured. The driver pulled off on the shoulder and called 911.

Troopers closed I-96 from approximately 5:00am till 6:05am and located two shell casings and other evidence.
