Bank of America robbed at gunpoint in Livingston County

HOWELL, MI – On Thursday January 11th, 2018, at approximately 2:01 PM, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to an Armed Robbery at the Bank of America located at 3400 E Grand River Ave in Genoa Township.

A sole white male subject entered the bank wearing a black jacket with hood, a black skull cap and dark colored gloves. The subject is approximately 6 foot and has a thin goatee.

Upon entering the bank, the suspect presented a note to the teller, showed a handgun and asked for all the money. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The City of Brighton Police Department K-9 was contacted and a track was attempted with negative results.

Additional investigation revealed that the suspect left the area in a 1998 to 2002 Chevy Venture mini-van, maroon in color.
