Two Shot, One Dead in Ypsilanti Robbery and Shooting [Updated]

YPSILANTI, MI – On Thursday January 11th, 2018, at approximately 11:20pm, two people were shot in the area of Clark Road & Huron River Drive. One of those individuals, a woman was found dead on scene.

Ypsilanti Police are looking for three men after a deadly apartment shooting and robbery near Eastern Michigan University.

Two men entered an apartment at the Huron View apartment complex in the 700 block of Green Road at 11:20 p.m. Thursday night. The men shot two people, stole several items and then fled the scene.

The two suspects along with a third fled in a red Dodge Charger or Challenger with a black spoiler on the back in an unknown direction.

A 25-year-old woman was killed and a 29-year-old man is in critical condition.

In an Off-Campus Community Safety Advisory, EMUPD stated that both victims are not students of Eastern Michigan University.

The three suspects are described as three black men in their early 20’s wearing all black. One of them was carrying a black backpack. The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1: Unknown male, late teens to early 20’s, 5’11”, thin build.

Suspect 2: Unknown male, late teens to early 20’s, 5’11”, thin build.

Suspect 3: Unknown male, late teens to early 20’s, 5’11”, thin build.
