FLINT, MI – If you have a missing loved one, this event may help to bring closure to your and your family. The Michigan State Police, Genesee County Medical Examiner’s Office, NamUs and Crime Stoppers of Flint & Genesee County will hold an event to ID the Missing on February 15th, 2018.
This event is being held to assist families of long term Missing Persons.
If you plan on attending the event, you are asked to please bring at least two biological family members and any identifying medical documents.
DNA Family Reference Samples (buccal swabs) will be taken to assist with identification of unidentified remains housed at the Genesee County Morgue and other medical examiners offices throughout the nation.
Each missing persons case will be added to the national missing persons registry at www.NamUs.gov.
Other identifying documents (photos, dental records, medical x-rays, etc.) can be brought to the event where they will be documented and returned.
