MOUNT CLEMENS, MI – The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office has received several messages and phone calls regarding a post that is traveling around Facebook.

This is not a Macomb County Sheriff’s Office incident.

This incident was reported to Stony Creek Metropark Police (586-781-4242).

The person who had posted the flyers has been contacted and asked to remove them because they are inaccurate, however; the post is still circulating.

Here is an additional piece of the post so that you have more information on what occurred:

“I was walking my dog today and he wanted me to stay off the tracks that the skiers use. I was on the part that is not a designated ski trail. He said I should walk on the side in the snow that is a foot deep. He blocked me when I told him no. I told him to get out of my way. He blocked me again. I then told him what he could go do with himself. He then shoved me off the trail, hard with both hands. Had to call the cops. If you see him call Stony Creek Metropark at 586-781-4242”

The Macomb County Sheriff would like to thank you everyone for bringing this to their attention.
