DETROIT, MI – Eric Alexander Brown, 33-years-old, Brian Deshawn Ash, 26-years-old and Grace Nyirahabimana, 18-years-old, all of Detroit, have been charged in connection with the human trafficking of a minor victim.
The minor is a 14-year-old girl from Detroit. It is alleged that the three individuals acted together, using the teenage girl in human trafficking in Detroit between January 16, 2018 and January 26, 2018.
More detailed facts will be introduced as evidence at the preliminary examination. An investigation by the Detroit Police Department led to the arrest of the defendants.

The probable cause conferences for all defendants are scheduled forFebruary 21, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.; the preliminary examinations are scheduled for February 26, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Both hearings are before Judge Lydia Nance-Adams in 36th District Court. Defendant Brown was remanded; Defendant Ash received a $1 Million cash/surety bond; Defendant Nyirahabimana received a $250,000 cash/surety bond.
